First off, let me introduce myself. My name is Natalie Marie. I am a Christian teen living on a small homestead on the outskirts of a medium-sized town in Minnesota. Along with school and work, I enjoy a myriad of hobbies such as reading {really? Who could guess?} art, baking, spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, snacking on sweet things, and sipping hot drinks. I enjoy reading many different kinds of books, but I mainly stick with fiction in the genres of fantasy, classic literature, clean romance, historical fiction, action/adventure, and Christian.
I believe our entertainment should never cross any boundaries that lead us to sin using our eyes, hearts, ears, or thoughts. With that in mind, with this blog, I hope to share with you my thoughts on books as I read them, so you can get a good idea of how you might wish to build your own excellent library. It is important to know what kind of books you want in your library, reading every book with discernment and asking important questions, among them, what is the quality of the writing? Did the characters develop well over the course of the story? What is the underlying worldview?
All of these and much more are important to take into consideration when deciding if a book is worthy to claim a spot in your library. I may not be able to touch on every question in every review, but will strive to give you a well-rounded and honest critique.
I will provide a list of any applicable content warnings with each review. Nobody likes to be surprised by adverse content in books they were so excited to read! These include:
~Violence
~Romance and sensuality
~LGBTQ+
~Language
~Drinking, drugs, and smoking
~Any other objectionable content I deem necessary to mention.
I will also include a loose star-rating system. The stars are my personal opinion.

I will try to post a review every time I finish a book, which varies depending on the book and the season of life I am in, but I may also include some extra, literary-themed content such as author spotlights and seasonal suggestions.
